CARDIOLOGY

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart as well as some parts of the cardiovascular system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and electrophysiology.

If a person has symptoms of a heart condition, their physician may refer them to a cardiologist. Symptoms that can indicate a heart problem include shortness of breath, dizziness, chest pains, changes in heart rate or rhythm, high blood pressure.

Dr. Karandeep Singh Syal is consultant Cardiologist at department of cardiology , previously he was senior Registrar in GB Pant Hospital New Delhi 2012-2013 He was awarded Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetes and Renal Management , ( PGDDRM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Cardiology ( PGDC).
